What is the ShoreShade?

Are there other colors?

We currently have three unique and stylish colors for you to choose from – Ocean Blue, Sunrise Orange, and Cosmic Purple! You can check them out ~here in the ShoreShade Shop!

What kind of sun protection does the ShoreShade have?
ShoreShade’s 8ft x 8ft fabric sail blocks up to 95% of UV rays, giving you up to 70% more shade area than a traditional beach umbrella!
How big of a drink can the cupholder fit?
Our integrated cup holders fit everything from slim cans to oversized tumblers.
How much noise does it make in the wind?
The ShoreShade is near-silent—even in high wind! We should have named it the ShhhoreShade!
What if there is no wind?

The ShoreShade® is designed to function in winds of just 2-3mph. For optimal functionality in those rare instances of calm air, each ShoreShade® comes standard equipped with a Cabana-Mode kit including two stakes that attach to the rear of the sail. Wind picking up again? Then simply unhook the stakes and let it fly!

What’s included in my purchase?
Each ShoreShade comes standard equipped with everything you’ll need including the complete ShoreShade sunshade, an embroidered carrying bag with pocket and shoulder strap, a sand tool (used during setup), two (2) attachable cup holders, and two (2) stakes for low wind applications.
How do I set up my ShoreShade? Is it hard to do?

You will not believe how easy it is to set up your ShoreShade! Each ShoreShade can be easily set up by a single person in under one minute by following just a few simple steps! 

Is there a warranty?

Absolutely. We proudly stand behind our product and offer a market leading warranty on all non-BLEM ShoreShades. Each ShoreShade is backed by a lifetime warranty covering the original owner against any defects in materials or workmanship when subjected to normal use.

We know that accidents happen, and our modular design makes replacing parts simple. Nearly all ShoreShade components can be replaced in a matter of minutes using a Phillips head screwdriver. If your ShoreShade is beyond repair, we will replace it one (1) time at no cost. Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse or unauthorized modifications. How much is shipping?
ShoreShade is pleased to offer free shipping on all orders over $75 within the contiguous United States. For orders under $75, a flat shipping rate applies. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii are subject to a flat shipping rate of $40. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
How long does delivery/shipping take?
Unless otherwise noted, orders received by 2 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, are typically fulfilled and shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2 pm Eastern Time or on weekends and holidays will generally be processed and shipped on the next business day. In most cases, orders will arrive within 2-3 business days after being shipped. Please note that these statements are general estimates and should not be considered a guarantee. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order has shipped so you can track your package precisely.
What countries do you ship to?

Can I buy ShoreShade in stores?
No. In order to ensure that you receive the highest quality product and proper customer service, every ShoreShade is shipped directly from us to you.
Does ShoreShade rotate with the wind?
No. The Next-Gen ShoreShade’s anti-rotation end cap is specifically designed to prevent rotation with the wind, thereby improving performance and keeping your shade right where you want it.
What is new on the Next Gen ShoreShade?
The new & improved Next-Gen ShoreShade features improved usability, a lifetime warranty, and an all-new anti-rotation end cap designed to improve performance by keeping your shade right where you want it.

Upgrades to ease of use include a reinforced ergonomic latch, rounded shade corners that keep your shade whisper quiet, and an improved bag design for easier access.

Of course, ShoreShade still comes standard equipped with your favorite features like our cup holders & gear hooks, adjustable height, and our famously easy set up!
